Creating a live event in YouTube
- sign in to your YouTube channel with your gmail account.
- You need a channel for creating a live event.If you don't have a YouTube channel,create a new channel.If you already have one,select the channel when you sign in.
- Enter video manager of your channel.
- On left navigation,under video manager you will see an option live events.Enter live events.
- In live event page,click enable live events button.
- Now YouTube will ask for phone verification by automated calling or text message.Select any option and enter your phone number and click submit
- Enter the 6 digit code in the field to verify your YouTube account and click continue.
- Click live events to add video details.
- In info and settings,add event title like event name,event description,event date and time etc.
- To start the broadcasting click go live now

Creating live video
- create a new channel by adding channel name and type device.
- In the description page,add video description,title,thumbnail etc and click save and continue.
- In the publish settings page,you will get the code to embed in your website and also you can set countries from where your video can be watched.Click save and continue.
- In encoder setup page,you can select the publishing point.Select a server near to your location.Also set the bitrate ,resolution and aspect ratio.
- In the next step,select the encoder.I use telestream wirecast for broadcasting.You can also use a adobe flash encoder.You can use any encoder for live streaming.
- Download the xml profile for wirecast and username and password

- Launch wirecast
- After opening wirecast,press ctrl and y together to enter broadcast settings
- You will get a popup to select an output destination.Select it as dacast
- now click the open xml file and upload the xml file we downloaded from the dacast software and click ok.
